This triangular shawl alternates between shades of pink fading from intensive to delicate,
interspersed with light white lace sections.

This pattern is written out line-by-line for easy ticking of as you go. Explicit instructions are also given for the use of stitch markers which make it easier to mark of pattern repeats and landmarks during the knitting.

• 4 shades of fading colours, for example pink in 4-ply (14wpi) cotton yarn
• white 4-ply (14 wpi) mercerised cotton yarn
The example in the photos was knitted with one of each 50g hobbii Rainbow 8/4 shades:
• Colour 1: 45 (pink),
• Colour 2: 62 (light pink),
• Colour 3: 44 (rose),
• Colour 4: 42 (pastel pink) and
• White: 2 balls of Paton 100% cotton 4-ply mercerised cotton
Yarn requirements in metres and yards are given to aid yarn substitution.
