Fluttering By
A delicate openwork lace shawl with hints of butterflies fluttering and flitting by.
A light triangular shawl made in one piece with an open mesh stitch design and a decorative edging. The main part of the shawl is worked back and forth in rows from the bottom up and the border is added later by working in the round.

The pattern uses only basic stitches but with some attention required for the written directions. Experience working with lace weight yarn would be useful.
