Ready for something a little different?

This poncho is one large rectangle worked from the bottom up starting with a border row of leaves and continuing up to make the body of the poncho and finishing with the collar. The piece is seamed at the shoulder and at the very bottom, leaving an optional armhole.

Instructions are provided if you wish to skip the leaf border altogether and make the poncho without the leaves.

Cascade 220 Superwash is not a worsted weight yarn as listed on Ravelry. It is light worsted, heavier than DK but lighter than worsted.

Approximate Finished Size: 35 inches wide by 16 inches long when fully assembled laying flat. Neck opening 12.5 inches with collar. The finished rectangle unfolded and laying flat measures approximately 70 inches. Fits a US size medium adult.
