Fly-Catcher Frog Bag
ABOUT FLY-CATCHER FROG
Fly-catcher frogs love to catch all sorts of things! They tend to snap up almost anything they can get their tongue on, so supervision is highly recommended.
If you leave your fly-catcher on a table with small items in reach, he may swallow them before you can intervene.
Get to know your frog and you’ll notice that he has a unique and individual personality with funny quirks and specific preferences in his diet. Some of them will only eat phones, others will eat your craft supplies and stationery, and some fly-catchers will eat everything in sight.
This is natural for your fly-catcher, and he may be trained in preferred behaviours using small treats. A well-trained fly-catcher will pack your everyday essentials and carry them for you, making him a useful and lovable companion.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
FUNCTIONAL: This fun bag is shaped like a real frog, made with amigurumi techniques. It’s big enough to fit an average smart phone.
SO CUTE: It closes cleverly with a drawstring and toggle that make it look like the frog has caught a fly.
POSEABLE: All the legs are poseable and can be unhooked to dangle or pose. Secure the limbs to your bag by its loops when you want the legs tucked up neatly.
NON-STRETCH: The bag has a long, cross-body strap and the pattern contains directions for adjusting the length. The strap is 100% non-stretch, so you can determine its length in advance without worrying about it getting longer with use.
NO-SEW: The pattern uses very minimal sewing. All the features are joined by crocheting as you go. You’ll only need to sew on the frog’s eyes and the fly’s wings.
NO LINING: The bag is small enough with firm crocheting to resist sagging when packed, so no lining should be needed.
