Gauge: 18 sts in 10cm/4 in in stockinette stitch
The samples were made using Sirdar Supersoft Aran and 5mm / US8 knitting needles, Red Heart Comfort and 4.5mm / US7 knitting needles, Bernat Super Value and 5mm / US8 knitting needles.
You will need: yarn (up to 70 grams), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (for knitting in the round) and a spare set of knitting needles, cable needle, two locking stitch markers, one regular stitch marker, three buttons, darning needle to weave in yarn ends, a thread and a needle to sew on the buttons, two stitch holders.
Please make a gauge swatch to make sure you match the gauge! The needle size will vary from yarn to yarn and from knitter to knitter! Please check your yarn label to see the needle size the yarn manufacturer recommends to obtain the gauge, make a gauge swatch and adjust the needle size if needed.
