Here’s a funky multicolored hat which can be paired with any colour garment you have in your wardrobe!

This striped hat is fun to make with small bundles of similarly sized scrap yarns you have in your stash. The stitchwork is relatively flexible, and the pattern fits a large adult head (22”) snugly.

The pattern here uses 10 mini-skeins of yarn, each about 18m/19y in DK weight. (The yarn I used was right on the size border of sport and DK weights.) There was some left over of each color, but not enough to complete a round. For a longer hat, knit until you’re almost out of yarn, then switch colors. The final color in the crown does not use all of its yarn according to the pattern.
