The Flywire Cowl is composed of two colorwork patterns, Fly slip stitch pattern, and Wire stranded colorwork. Wire stranded colorwork is charted only. This pattern is designed in collaboration with LGF Suri using their Targhee Worsted. Yarn leftovers can be used in the complimentary pattern Flywire Hat. Use CODE: GIFTKNIT for 20% off.
Yarn: LGF Suri Targhee Worsted, 3 ply, 80% Targhee 20% Suri, 2+ oz(57+ g); 190+ yds(174+m)
MONOCHROME SAMPLE
C1: Black; 3oz(85g), or 250yds(228m)
C2: Silver; 1.7 oz(50g), or 140yds(128m)
C3: Forest; 0.7oz(20g), or 70yds(65m)
C4: White; 1oz(30g), or 100yds(91m)
JEWEL TONE SAMPLE
C1: Black Opal; 3oz(85g), or 250yds(228m)
C2: Lucerne; 1.7 oz(50g), or 140yds(128m)
C3: Plumwine; 0.7oz(20g), or 70yds(65m)
C4: Lilac; 1oz(30g), or 100yds(91m)
Tools: US 9/ 5.5 mm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 15 sts x 20 rows worked in st sts over 4 in / 10 cm using US 9 / 5.5mm needle
Techniques: Stranded colorwork, and slip stitch colorwork. Purl i-cord bind off, increasing within colorwork.
