These dishcloths come in two sizes, and please don’t let their elegant appearance fool you, they are quite up to washing dishes. Along with fancy soap, they would also make a tasteful housewarming gift

The recommended yardage given above is based on making only the small cloth or making both cloths. The actual breakdown is below:

Small cloth: 20 grams or 33 or so yards.
Large cloth: 40 grams or 70 or so yards.

Needle size is 6.

Errata: Line 1 has a quote (“) instead of a star and the pattern instructs you to knit 6 rows initially instead of 4.

Variation: Some of the knitters, using this pattern, have tried making it with the garter rows a contrasting color. I think it was a great idea and encourage you to try it.
