This hat can be knit in two versions: slouchy hat or beanie, referring to the main body chart and knitting either the whole chart or only the top part. The chart can also be knit in only one MC and CC for a more subdued finished result.
MATERIALS:
- Approximately 80/100 meters for main color and approximately half of that for contrast color 1 and 2 in aran/chunky weight yarn. You will also need a small amount of CC3 (yellow, in this case) if you want a more “gradient” version of the corrugated rib.
White: MC
 Red: CC1 Orange: CC2 Yellow: CC3

I used British Eroika white - yellow - orange - red
One 50 gram ball (80 m) of of MC, CC1, 2 and 3 was enough for one hat.

  • 6 mm 40 cm circular, DPNs or magic loop - or size to obtain gauge - Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle GAUGE:

  • Approx. 16/18 stitches, 22 rows for 10 cm Finished item fits a head of 54/58 cm.

Extra notes:

  • IT IS OK to sell items knit with this pattern

  • The yarn is listed as bulky, Ravelry has it listed as bulky too, but the actual description on the yarn says it is a “Worsted-weight tweed with more than 50% British wool content.” I noticed this and it has been pointed out in messages and by my testers, but the yarn feels more bulky than Aran weight to me. This pattern can be adapted lighter yarn weights by adding a pattern repetition - as one of my testers did (the red/pink hat in the photos. Please test out what seems to work for you - and if you have the yarn listed, let me hear your thoughts about it. I found this yarn on sale and I liked the autumn-y colors, that’s why I used it :D As pointed out by users, this pattern should work ok and fit a medium head if knit on smaller needles and with worsted weight yarn - I have a big head :)
