“Foglioline” (young leaves in Italian) is an infinity scarf born from a cross-study between Tunisian crochet and knitting. The scarf’s motif was originally conceived for knitting, and it comes from Mary Thomas’ Mary Thomas’s Book of Knitting Patterns. I adapted it to Tunisian crochet, choosing to use Tunisian knit stitch as a tribute to the original stitch.

The pattern is conceived as a project for those who want to try Tunisian lace stitches without having to deal with a small hook and a thin yarn. Difficulty level is intermediate, so if you’re an absolute beginner at TC I recommend you make some more practice, then get back to it.

“Foglioline” è una sciarpa ad anello nata da uno studio incrociato tra uncinetto tunisino e maglia. Il motivo su cui si basa era originariamente concepito per i ferri, ed è contenuto nel libro di Mary Thomas Mary Thomas’s Book of Knitting Patterns. Io l’ho adattato all’uncinetto tunisino, scegliendo di eseguirlo a punto maglia come tributo all’originale.

Il modello nasce come progetto per chi vuole provare i punti pizzo dell’uncinetto tunisino senza doversi cimentare subito con un uncinetto piccolo e un filato sottile. Il livello di difficoltà è intermedio, quindi se siete principianti assoluti dell’uncinetto tunisino vi consiglio di fare prima un po’ di pratica, e poi prendere in considerazione questo progetto.
