This is a handy little shopping bag that can be folded away and kept in your pocket or handbag. Strong and sturdy, when opened out it can carry a deceptive amount of purchases!

Constructed using two circular base pieces joined together, the main bag is crocheted around the joining stitches, the handle is crocheted separately and threaded through the top as a drawstring. The bag is folded into the base and secured with a button.

Instructions have been given for DK weight cotton, but a 4ply can also be used, it just makes a smaller bag.
