I created this pattern so I could put a Frisbee-like toy in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. My nieces and nephews liked them; so did my friends’ kids. Field test successful, I made a stack for OCC. Some acquaintances requested the pattern, so I wrote it up and published it to my blog. I’m sure other people have come up with similar patterns, but I created this version through trial and error

The flying disc can be crocheted in one or two colors (or more), and uses about 100 yards total if crocheted with Simply Soft.
