Folia blanket
A luxurious blanket that looks amazing and is fun to make!
The use of post double crochet stitches means that there is (almost) the same pattern on both sides.
The pattern has full written instructions and a chart - actually 2 charts. I have made one that shows each stitch as it is made and an “overview chart” where you see the pattern repeat from the right side.
In the pattern there is a photo tutorial for the post double crochet stitches and you can also find videos on my youtube channel.
I have made it in a classic wool, that will last a lifetime, but if you are not keen about wool, you can use cotton or acrylics.
The pattern is available in english (US terms) and danish.
Finished measurements:
The shown blanket measures 120 x 180 cm.
If you want to make a different size, you can use the following list of stitch numbers and number of repeats for different sizes. The pattern repeat is 42 sts and 38 rows.
Widths:
140 cm = ch 288, 6 repeats
120 cm = ch 246, 5 repeats
100 cm = ch 204, 4 repeats
80 cm = ch 162, 3 repeats
Length:
215 cm = 237 rows, 6 repeats
180 cm = 199 rows, 5 repeats
146 cm = 161 rows, 4 repeats
112 cm = 123 rows, 3 repeats
77 cm = 85 rows, 2 repeats
