This pattern was created in collaboration with the shop Les Petits Points Parisiens for CSF 2015. It’s available both in English and French.

With its wide lace pattern that is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau swirls, “Folie Douce” is a lightweight and enveloping shawl, perfect for Fall.
The shawl is knitted from the top and down, starting with a simple and relaxing triangular section, in stocking stitch. The lace part placed on the second half of the project brings the essential touch of elegance, that makes all the difference ;)

The name “Folie Douce” is a wink to this yarn’s amazing colorway :)

Avec sa large dentelle qui n’est pas sans rappeler les volutes de style Art Nouveau, “Folie Douce” est un shawl léger et enveloppant, parfait pour l’automne.
Il se tricote du haut vers le bas, en commençant par une partie triangulaire en jersey, simple et relaxante. La dentelle, placée sur la deuxième moitié du shawl, apporte la petite touche d’élégance qui fait toute la différence.

Le nom “Folie Douce” est un clin d’oeil a la sublime teinte du fil utilisé :)
