These potholders are both soft and dense, ideal for the holiday bakery — or to brighten your kitchen. The two-colored stripe pattern has added interest with cords and cables.
For these potholders I came up with the technique for an attached cord edge and to work a cord pattern into the stripes.

Die Anleitung ist Teil von My Year of Techniques 2019, wofür ich mir jeden Monat eine neue Technik ausdenke.

Diese Topflappen sind weich und doch dicht, ideal für die Weihnachtsbäckerei — oder als fröhlich bunte Akzente in der Küche. Das zweifarbige Streifenmuster wird durch Kordeln
aufgepeppt.
Für die Topflappen habe ich mir ausgedacht, wie man einen Kordelrand direkt mithäkelt und wie man Kordelmuster mit verkürzten Reihen in ein Streifenmuster häkelt.
