Follow your curve fingerless
This pattern has been tested by a group of skillful and talented knitters. Thank you to Paco44/ HausHase / Indulgence / e-roll / SognodiLana / MicheleinPA / Moondancer256 /pollywaffle /lhensley**
Follow your curve fingerless gloves is the first pattern in a series of 3 patterns using the same slip-stitch pattern. I fell in love with the beautiful curve of the pattern when I first worked if for a dress, and just HAD to use it againg; for these gloves and also a scarf.
The pattern has exactly what I am looking for in a good design; simplicity, elegance and something a bit different.

Construction
The fingerless gloves are worked bottom-up and in the round, starting from a ribbed cuff and a section of stockinette sts, followed by the slip-st pattern. The thumb gusset is integrated in the knitting. The thumb is later worked from the sts of the gusset left on hold.
Both gloves are worked in the same way - which is very practical, both for knitting and for wearing:)
Sizes
Finished circumference: 17/18.5/20cm = 6.75/7.25/8”.
Materials
Yarn:I used Wollmeises Pure Merino Superwash, a fingering weight yarn that comes in skeins of 150gr/5.29 oz.
You will only be needing approximately 100m/114yards of this (or a similar, fingering weight, yarn), so this is the perfect stashbuster:)
Needles: I used needle size 3mm/US2.5 to work the gloves. This is a suggestion only, please take time to check your gauge.
I found it very practical to work the gloves using a circular needle (the magic loop method), but they might be worked using a set of dpns.
Notions: separate holders for the thumb sts.
Gauge 28 sts = 10cm/4” in stockinette sts (as well as in the slipped st pattern).
The pattern
The pattern gives all necessary stitch-counts. The measurements are given in cm’s as well as in inches. The pattern is written out round-by-round.
