Following Sunrise Shawl
Following Sunrise Shawl features a beautiful shell stitch pattern and your favourite yarn to create a modern shawl for summer.
(Formerly known as Sunrise Shawl, published in Crochet Now Issue 16, June 2017)
It’s a versatile triangle shawl you can make any size, with
any yarn, and optional fringing or tassels.
Yarn alternative ▸▹Scheepjes Whirl (1000m) will make a larger shawl, or choose any 4ply or DK yarn. You will need to adjust your hook to match tension (gauge) and you may need different quantities of yarn.
Includes a chart as well as instructions in UK and US terms.
Inspiration
“Summer mornings at the beach, full of hope and promises of fun for the day ahead.”
I designed this lightweight shawl for tropical days and nights, and protecting bare shoulders from too much sun as the perfect summer day goes on.
