These scarves look difficult and time consuming, and unless they are knitters, they won’t know any different. These are great for gift exchanges, last minute birthday presents, coworker gifts, etc. They don’t even need blocking.

I’ve made several using a variety of novelty yarns: boucle, fluff, puff, sparkle, nubs, you name it.

You will need one skein of novelty yarn, and a corresponding yardage of a base yarn (I recommend acrylic or a blend). You will hold the two together when knitting.
