Fall is fast approaching, and with it comes FOOTBALL!! This beautiful Football Team Colors Beanie with Long Braids is a confident beginner level pattern. It uses the half double crochet stitch for the body of the beanie and the single crochet stitch for the earflaps.

Sizes and Final Measurements: This pattern is written for average adult women size of 22” circumference and 8 ½” from crown to bottom of beanie (excluding earflaps). Instructions for women’s size Large, with a 23 ½” circumference and 9” from crown to bottom of beanie, are written in parentheses. If there is only one set of instructions, it is the same for both sizes.

100% acrylic worsted weight
7 oz, 364 yds each skein
(Seattle Seahawks colors) -
Spring Green, Royal and White
Big Twist Value, 100% acrylic
worsted weight, 6 oz, 380 yds
(Kansas City Chiefs colors) -
Varsity Red, Varsity Gold, White
1 skein of each color is plenty to make the beanie and pompom.

You may substitute any worsted weight yarn you like as long as you use the hook necessary to meet gauge.
