Fall is a wonderful time for scenic walks, and here in the Midwest you sometimes need something over your shoulders to take off the chill. The old covered bridge of Cedarburg is one of my favorite spots; as you cross through this historic landmark it is hard not to wonder about all the foot traffic of many years past. The simple stitch pattern used here reminds me of the old weathered boards you walk across. The Footbridge shawl will be what you want to wrap yourself in on chilly autumn walks as you savor all the glory of the season.

Jackie from Luna Grey Fiber Arts will be offering kits in her shop. You can either chose from pre-selected kits, or chose your own colors. Jackie will also custom dye fiber for you if you have something in mind that you don’t see.
