The foothills of the Canadian Rockies range from steeply sloping to undulating hills. The rocky outcrops and rolling fields of the foothills are covered with a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees. The foothills are where the Rockies and the boreal forests of Alberta abut. The forested slopes of the foothills are the inspiration for this lace and garter cowl.
