Foothills Sock
Foothills Sock
The Foothills Sock brings a new technique to top-cuff-down socks. It offers not only this new cuff, but 2 choices of comfortable heel shapes. I’ve also included videos and links for visual references. The body of the sock is a very comfortable waffle stitch that is an easy 4 row repeat. Though it was made with a yarn that has an elastic texture, it knits up beautifully in any fingering weight yarn. I suggest going up a needle size if you need a little extra ease. Only one of my test knitters went up a needle size. Written for 2 Circulars or Magic Loop, but can be worked on Double Points.
Like all my patterns I write each one as if we were sitting together having a lesson. There are hints and suggestions throughout.
