The mitts were designed as a present for my blog readers and followers, the pattern was published on my blog (in Polish) and then on my Facebook fanpage (in Polish and in English).

As many of my English-speaking friends don’t do FB, here is a pdf version of the pattern for download.

The mitts are easy to knit, they are started at the wrist with a small lacy element that is almost identical on both sides. This way the wrist part can me made longer and folded.

1x1 ribbing makes the mitts easily adaptable to different hand sizes, it also assures a snug and comfortable fit.

Any worsted, light worsted or DK yarn can be used, and there are also great possibilities to combine different colours.
