Introduction
This design is done for a friend who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The body of the shawl has a subtle awareness ribbon theme. The border has a cable, which stands for wrapping her in as many hugs as possible and the arrow shaped lace for her favorite theme of arrows.
The shape of this shawl is asymmetrical, the increases are done on the left edge of the right side row to make the pattern easier to follow. Once you reach the desire length of shawl then a knitted on border is added.

Techniques Used
Ssk, K2tog, Yo, knit through the back. Knitted on lace border (optional)

Size
Sample is TBD. However the shawl can be made any size by repeating the charts in order until desired length is reached.

Yarn
DK Weight = 492 yds (450 m).
Sample shown in Noro Silk Garden Sock (color 87) .5 skein, Noro Janome (colors 7 & 15) 1 skein each.
