I knit these socks for not one, but two reasons: one, that I wanted to make sure that one skein of Schaefer Yarn’s Heather would yield a pair of men’s socks; and two, that I hadn’t ever knit my man some socks! The zig-zagging knit-and-purl pattern is both in chart and written format. The sock is knit “traditionally” from the top down with a reinforced heel. These take a bit of time to knit, but I promise the recipient will be truly grateful!
