The For the Boys Cardigan is a one piece garment, which is knit seamlessly from the top of the hood down. Designed to incorporate a seamless cable design, this sweater will be sure to draw some attention.
This sweater features many design options for customization, including: with hood or without, zipper or button closure, textured cuff and hems, and a braided or twisted cable border done in either complimentary intarsia or the main colorway.

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn: For hooded/long sleeve version - approximately 300 (320, 380, 400, 430, 450, 510, 560, 600, 650) yards total – approximately 200 (210, 255, 265, 285, 300, 340, 375, 400, 435) yards of colorway and 100 (110, 125, 135, 145, 150, 170, 185, 200, 215) yards of trim. For non-hooded version - approximately 165 (210, 250, 300, 350, 370, 400, 420, 480, 520) yards total
• 1 zipper in the length of your finished sweater or desired number of buttons (3-8 buttons)
• 6 stitch markers
• 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn
• 12” (30cm) and 16” (40cm) US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular or straight needles, or size necessary to obtain gauge
• 4 dpns and 1 circular needle two sizes smaller (US size 5, 3.75mm) for the button loops, neck, and sleeve cuffs.

Gauge: 4.5 sts and 6 rows per inch in stockinette stitch
