For the Frill Of It

When I saw that Emma’s Yarn was releasing a gorgeous bundle called Mo Slub--one skein Slub Yarn, one skein Silky Mohair--I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but I knew I had to do something fabulous, and fast! I had never used slub yarn before, and had only worked with mohair once!
This was so beyond any fun I could have imagined making a cowl. It’s a hand party. It really is.
These yarns are very particular, so finding the right shape and length and deign was an exciting challenge….I hope you guys love what I came up with for the thrill of it! I mean, the Frill of It!
Note: I would advise spritzing the cowl with water rather than a full soak or a wet block with pins, as that brings the frill out of the yarn without losing its shape and structure!
