Featuring stranded hearts and the tree of life, Love of Linda is dedicated to Linda Bancroft; sister to a friend of mine, and a soldier in the battle against cancer.

This free pattern is my gift to Linda, and other people like her, in a hope that it would bring them hope and encouragement.

I used Berocco Vintage yarn. I used less than half a skein of two different colors. I would say 135-150 yds of each color in total would be plenty.

It is written for only one size, but a difference in yarn or needle size could easily make this larger or smaller.

ERRATA: ok, so nobody’s perfect! I forgot to mention that on Row 1 (purl row, contrasting color) you join and purl in the round. My testers and I just read it in, I guess. My apologies. This hat is knit in the round.
