Our family recently discovered an ancestral connection to Ireland and Scotland through our great grandmother Mary Powell. The makers in my family were excited to learn that our love for fiber, crocheting ad knitting was connected to lands so rich in this history. For the Love of Powell designs celebrate this inheritance.

This sock pattern was first published in the spring of 2020 as a free pattern and has been updated to include more instruction.

The heel is a German band heel.

The length of the cuff and foot are customizable as nearly all socks are. The samples were knit with a 7” long cuff and a 9” long foot.
