Forager Shawl
The Forager Shawl is an exclusive design for the Lanivendole Yarn Advent Calendar 2024. The individual pattern will be released on Friday, March 29, 2025.
A large triangular shawl, inspired by the wealth of colors and textures found when foraging in the woods.
The Forager shawl was initially designed for Lanivendole’s The Woods Advent Calendar 2024, inspired by the treasure we find in the woods in winter.
“Walking through silent trees in a chilling day, strolling around searching for little treasures that we might find if we pace down, and just look around.
Woods in late autumn are rich of hidden awes, being mushrooms, berries of pinecones to forage, small creatures to observe, barks or stems to collect and wind into wreaths.
Think of coming home and enjoy your haul, bringing a little of the woods inside to store and prepare for the upcoming Winter holidays.”
The large triangle shawl features colorful two-color Brioche stripes between Garter stitch sections, interspersed with plump bobbles. The edges are finished with i-cords.
