Forager Socks
A loon calls out over the lake as you emerge from your tent on a fresh August morning, the dew still clinging to the lichen on the trees. You pull on your Forager Socks, feeling the snugness around your feet as you gather fresh ingredients for breakfast. Moss squishes delightfully under your boots as you make your way across the forest’s undergrowth. Today is about connecting with nature.
This pattern features an antler cable nestled between borders of broken moss stitch. The back of the leg has a moss stitch pattern that lends added texture.
This is a toe-up DK weight sock with a gusset and heel flap. The texture is included in both written and charted versions. This pattern is designed for one circular needle (Magic Loop) or two circular needles but can be adapted to other techniques.
