Forest Berries
Meet the “Forest Berries,” a cardigan that’s as intricate as the forest it’s inspired by. This pattern is a love letter to nature, featuring bobbles that resemble ripe berries, leaf motifs that capture the forest’s lush greenery, and lace patterns that echo the spiny branches of a blackberry bush. Knit in one piece from the top down with a raglan construction and a double knit button band.

Construction Summary:
The piece is knitted from the top down, first the stitches for the neck are casted on and the yoke is worked with raglan increases until the sleeve separation.
Then the body and sleeves are separated. Sleeves are worked in the round, while the body is worked back and forth.
Once the body is completed, stitches are picked up for the double knit band.
The last step is to do the neck ribbing, picking up stitches along the double knit band & the CO stitches. German short rows are worked here to elevate the back of the neck.
