This pattern is the very first I have designed from scratch. It is based on the drawing by Kenzle
(@kenzle.puff on Instagram) you can see on the first page, next to my finished monster.

After seeing the drawing I went onto dreaming. Thinking about what colours I’d use. My idea was
that this cyclops would hide in the bushes waiting for a victim and then it would attack by popping
its eye out.

Unfortunately I have no pictures in progress as it is my very first design. So I would recommend this
pattern for intermediate crocheters and up. Anyone with at least some different types of
amigurumi under their belt. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

For this pattern I used Stylecraft Special DK in Parchment (colour 1), Mocha (colour 2), Cypress (colour 3) and Meadow (colour 4). I used a 3.5mm hook. I used wire in the body and the horns. It gives them a bit more shape. You are free to skip this.

My cyclops turned out about 22cm/8.7 inches high.
