This pattern is now available both fully written and charted.

This triangular shawl was inspired by primroses and wood anemones glimpsed on the forest floor on a sunny spring morning.

Knitted from the top down, and suitable for knitters with a little experience of lace, or a confident/adventurous beginner, it is adjustable in size and can be worked with a single skein of laceweight or 4-ply/sock yarn.

The main body is worked in a traditional Estonian pattern comprising a simple 8-row repeat (there are no nupps!). This develops into a diamond and flower edging that can be blocked into neat points.

There are no short rows and no picking up of stitches, apart from the garter stitch tab right at the start.
