Forest Fog Kitchen Towel
Whether you are baking scones, making hot tea, or arranging freshly cut flowers, the Forest Fog Kitchen Towel is perfect for your cottagecore afternoon. Sturdy in the body, this dishtowel can withstand the biggest kitchen messes while the delicate mock cable adds a bit of whimsy. Perfect for beginners, this pattern allows for the coziness of cables without the added complexity of using a cabling needle. Advanced knitters can whip this up in a couple of hours.
Pair this hand-knitted kitchen towel with your favorite loose tea and a good book for a lovely gift.
This pattern is great for beginner knitters. Nothing in this pattern is complicated, and as this is a mock cable, no cable needle is required!
Materials
- size 8 needles, circular or straight
- 190 yards of worsted cotton yarn (or one skein of KnitPicks Dishie)
- stitch markers
I kept the mock cable stitch pattern repeat going until the end of my skein. This is a great pattern for using up a full skein and eliminating those random scraps.
