Original knitting pattern.

Since I live in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, I thought it was high time that I designed some Adirondack-y themed patterns. Here is the second in the series….

Forest Friends - Moose & Deer Hat pattern is in PDF format (download) in two sizes… ages 4 - teen, with a finished circumference of 20-21” and adult medium-large with a finished circumference of 23.5-24”. Designed to be knit in the round with worsted weight yarn using the stranded colorwork technique. Instead of using two colors, you could change the background color part way through to create an earth/sky look. Either way, two or three colors, this would make a very happy hat for that special someone.

Thank you for looking and for loving my design enough to consider buying it. I’ve been knitting and selling my knitted items for a long time now. It takes many hours to create a cute design that just “works”. And then, to write an easy to follow, thorough, yet concise pattern. Knitting my designs over and over through the years, I have, in mind, as I start publishing some; keep it simple and sweet. Having said that, my hat patterns do cover three pages (sometimes more), organized like this….
1) Title, picture, facts like materials needed, gauge, etc.
2) Legend and all knitting instructions
3) Graph (s), notes and contact info
4) Extra pics and stuff…sometimes!
