Forest Frolic
This pattern uses various motifs that represent nature and a stroll through the woods. I brought in a lot of elements such as flowers, trees, leaves and cute little owls.
The blanket is wider than it is long, but if this is an element that bothers you, simply adjust the stitch count before adding another row of the little trees border and an additional section of your choice.
Gauge is really not vital to your project, but blanket will measure around 43” W x 41.5” H when knit to gauge. It is intended to be big enough to go over a car seat or in a stroller to keep baby warm and snuggled on your forest frolics.
I used approximately 32 ounces of yarn. If you use acrylic, wash it after knitting for a softer feel. You will also need a size 9, 36” or larger circular cable knitting needle.
