Forest Hoodie
My family was on vacation, trying to find our way through an unknown town. We were all watching out the windows for a certain street, when my Mom called everyone to look! We all whipped our heads to look out that window and saw a row of giant trees. But not any trees, these looked like Christmas trees. Only huge. I pulled out my camera as fast as I could and managed a decent photo through the traffic. It was a striking sight, and I loved the massive pointy row. The border around the hem of this hoodie is inspired by those trees.
This hoodie is seamless and knit from the bottom up. When the yoke is up to the neckline, you switch from knitting in the round to working back and forth on the yoke, knitting the border of the neckline and hood along with the shoulders and hood. At the top of the hood, you graft the stitches left and never cast off. This way you can avoid the dreaded cast off edge.
Errata for this pattern:
Row 145 and 146 should be 143 and 144.
The total of 89 stitches found on row 130 should be on 132 instead
Also, row 140 should be: p1, k1 6 times, p1, k13, ssk, k2 7 times, k12, p1, k1 6 times, p1. It used to have k10 instead of k13.
On the sleeves, rounds 62-68 should read rounds 62-66
