Forest Park takes advantage of the razor-sharp stitch defnition of Brooklyn Tweed’s wonderful new DK-weight base, Arbor, for a modern, graphic take on a knitting project that, in its way, couldn’t be more traditional: the cabled scarf. The two halves are worked separately from a provisional cast on, for a symmetrical fnal product. The scarf is generously sized as drafed, perfect for wrapping multiple times around your neck or wearing under a coat on a cold winter day. If you’d prefer a shorter version, simply adjust the total yardage based on the modifcation instructions provided.

One size, approximately 10” / 25.5 cm wide, 72” / 183 cm long.

Yarn
Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (100% U.S. Targhee wool, 145 yards / 133 meters per 50 grams / 1.8 oz), 7 skeins, or 1000 yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn.

Gauge
30 sts/ 32 rows per 4” / 10 cm in cable pattern, as charted, after blocking.

Needles
24” / 61 cm or longer circular needle, or long straights, in size US 5 / 3.75 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge. Note: circular needle is used to accommodate large number of sts.
