This hat features long stitches made with extra wraps around the bottom; crown is decreased gradually to make the long tail.

I used less than one skein of Wool Ease for this hat. It’s a great stash buster, and you can even change colors to make stripes if you like.

Additional note: switch to larger needle after the ribbing is complete (older version of pattern).
