THIS LISTING IS FOR THE PATTERN, NOT THE FINISHED HAT

Update: The pattern has been updated to correct the number counts.

When you need something a little more than just a beanie or earflap hat, make this chill-chaser hood and cowl in one-piece ease that fits snug around the chin and neck. Instructions are given to achieve a custom fit.

Made in one piece with bulky weight yarn double - stranded for a thicker cover for head, neck and top of shoulders. It can be worn under a coat as an extra layer of warmth from the howling wind.

Make it in grey for a medieval knight chainmail look.

Makes a wonderfully warm winter hood and cowl for anyone in their favorite color.

Instructions are given in the pattern.

Pattern works up very quickly and easily for the beginner.

You will need to know how to work in the round, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet.
