Forester Shawl
The Forester Shawl is a truly relaxing knit designed to give you some headspace whilst creating a cosy shawl. It will keep you engaged with some simple slip stitch patterns, whilst exploring colour and texture.
The shawl is a simple triangular shape which is large enough to wrap around and keep you warm during the cooler seasons.
Yarn: The sample used a total of 1131yds / 1042m of fingering weight yarn.
The sample used 3 x 100g skeins of Zakami Yarn NSW Organic Merino in the “Full Moon”, “Gauri” and “Amaethon” colourways (437yds / 400m per 100g) (100% NSW Organic Merino), and 1 x 100g skein of Zakami Yarn Suri Fluff Fingering weight in the “Selkie” colourway (437yds / 400m per 50g) (38% Baby Alpaca, 37% Pima Cotton, 25% Merino).
Yardages required are:
C1 (Full Moon): 177yds / 171m
C2 (Gauri): 382yds / 349m
C3 (Amaethon): 251yds / 229m
Fluff (Selkie): 321yds / 293m
Recommended Needle Size:
32” 4mm (US Size 6) circular needle, or appropriate size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 20 sts / 37 rows = 4” (10cm) in garter stitch knitted flat.
Finished Measurements: One Size - Width: 70” (178cm), Depth: 34” (86cm)
