Finished Measurements: 11.5”/29cm width, 39”/100cm circumference after blocking and grafting
Gauge: 26 sts and 36 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not critical in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect yardage and size of finished garment. It may be necessary to unravel gauge swatch and re-use the yarn. Take time to check gauge.
Materials:
Yarn: Sock weight self-striping yarn; 460 yards. Model shown in Universal Yarn Angora Lace (50% superwash fine merino, 30% nylon, 20% angora; 462yds/100g): color #111 Calm (blues), 1 ball; color #107 Spice Tree, 1 ball
Needles: US 5/3.75mm straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge; 20” or longer circular needle one size smaller than project needle; 4 dpns (double-pointed needles) to use as stitch holders
Scrap yarn for provisional cast on
