Forever You Cowl
DETAILS
The Forever You Cowl is a mobius cowl featuring mosaic knitting and slipped stitch patterns. The pattern features two versions, to accommodate those who prefer stranded colorwork. Also included are various modifications that allow you to customize your cowl as an infinity cowl (without the twist), and instructions for creating either a tighter fitting mobius or infinity cowl.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
As written (with or without twist): 31.5” / 80cm circumference by 7” / 18cm depth.
Tight infinity: 24.75” / 63cm circumference by 7” / 18cm depth.
Tight mobius: 28.5” / 72.5cm circumference by 7” / 18cm depth.
YARN REQUIREMENTS
These are just approximations. Total yarn usage will depend on the yarn you use (fiber content, ply, etc.), your personal gauge, and any modifications you may make.
Color A: 130g / 306yds / 280m (2 skeins)
Color B and C (each): 51g / 120yds / 110m (1 skein each color)
SUGGESTED YARN
Hudson + West Co., Forge 70% U.S. Merino, 30% U.S. Corriedale (235yds / 100g) in 3 colors – Color A: “Cabernet;” Color B: “Lake;” Color C: “Midnight”
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
US size 6 / 4mm (or whatever needles needed to obtain gauge) – 16” circular needle.
NOTIONS
1 BOR stitch marker
2 circular needles (2nd circular needle is for holding sts while grafting)
Crochet hook (for provisional cast on)
Scissors
2 scraps of yarn (for provisional cast on and for holding stitches for blocking before grafting)
Tapestry needle
GAUGE
24 sts & 32 rows = 4”/10cm
Measured over slipped stitch pattern in the round/flat using needle to meet gauge, blocked.
