Fight those winter blues with this fun, floral hat! The floral design was inspired by Alaska’s state flower, the alpine forget-me-not (Myosotis alpestris).

I provide instructions for 3 finished circumferences: 17.5”/44.5cm (19.5”/49.5cm) (22”/56cm). I recommend knitting the size that gives about 2-3 inches (5-8 cm) negative ease relative to your head circumference. Finished height is 9” (23 cm) (but can be adjusted by knitting additional flower rows).

The hat can be knit using 3 colors or 2, depending on whether you want you want a separate color for the flower middles or whether you would rather use the background color for the flower middles.

◦80-120 m (90 – 130 yds) (MAIN COLOR) shown in grey
◦30-50 m (35 – 55 yds) (CONTRAST COLOR) shown in blue
◦10-20 m (11 – 22 yds) (ACCENT COLOR) flower center - optional
