Pattern has directions for both a worsted and super bulky version of this cowl. You do not need 2 yarns to complete this project, unless you want one in each weight. You will need approx. 90yds of the super bulky yarn, or approx. 218yds of the worsted yarn.

I remember buying both these skeins of yarn. I remember having a purpose for each of them at the time. And now I cannot for the life of me recall what that purpose was. Hopefully this pattern gives purpose to some of the super bulky and worsted skeins in your stash. Cowl can be worn with either the chevron lace to the top or to the bottom; you decide which you like best.

Materials:
Worsted Version
1 skein of Araucania Sayi, 100g 218yds 50/50 wool/acrylic (shown in color 101 “Inti Raymi”)
US 9 circular needles in 24-inch length
Stitch marker
Yarn needle to weave in ends

Super Bulky Version
1 skein of Malabrigo Rasta, 150g 90yds 100% Merino wool (shown in color 172 “Campfire”)
US 15 circular needles in 24-inch length
Stitch marker
Yarn needle to weave in ends

Measurements: Gauge is not super important for this project. If you are a tight knitter, go up a needle size; if you are a loose knitter, go down a needle size. Super bulky version measures approximately 27 inches in circumference and 10 inches deep after blocking. Worsted version measures approximately 28 inches in circumference and 12 inches deep after blocking.
