This hat starts with a 2-stitch cable rib pattern which then flows into the forked diamonds design which is also created with 2-stitch cables. The hat is knitted in the round and the pattern includes written instructions as well as charts. Suitable for knitters with some experience.

Size 1: Child (3-10 years): To fit 51cm (20”) head circumference
Size 2: Pre-teen/teen : To fit 53.5cm (21”) head circumference
Size 3: Average Adult: To fit 57cm (22.5”) head circumference
Size 4: Large Adult: To fit 57-61cm (22.5 - 24”) head circumference

Suggested yarn: The sample was knitted in DROPS Lima (100m per 50g);
however you can use any alternative DK to Worsted weight yarn as long as you get the same gauge

Quantity: 100-150 metres (using the sample yarn)
Approximately 30 metres additional yarn in CC is required for optional 6.5cm/2½” pom pom
