This is a pattern for the advanced knitter.

Traditional Orenburg lace patterns are used in the charts, but I created them in a classical way to show decreases, while in traditional Orenburg charts, only yarn-overs would be shown.

Included in the pattern are:
• Chart А1_23, А1_1_23 – stole 185 sts wide (edging not included).
• Chart А2_26 – stole 209 sts wide (edging not included).

Yarn:
for laceweight yarn with yardage of 800 m/100 g:
• А1_23, А1_1_23 – about 1,800 m (210–220 g),
• А2_26, – about 2,500 m (310 g).

Depending on your knitting style, you may use less or more of the yarn stated.
This shawl has 5 pieces: rectangular center (body) and 4 identical borders. Traditionally these shawls are made as one piece, the pattern has a photo tutorial for grafting.
