Inspired by the Gothic architecture and historic palaces of Venice, Italy, this elegant hat features twisted stitches that form a diamond motif on columns of knit stitches. The engaging stitch work will have you saying, “just one more row!”

The pattern includes charted and written instructions. The Foscari Hat is knit seamlessly from the top down, beginning with the crown and concluding with the ribbed brim.

One 100-gram skein of DK weight yarn.

Suggested Needle Size
US size 5 (3.75 mm) needle
Pattern is written using the Magic Loop method, but can easily be adapted for DPNs.

Gauge
33 sts x 33 rows = 4 inches in 2x2 ribbing in the round after blocking.
