I saw this hat at a shopping trip to the mall but couldn’t bring myself to pay $36 for it. I found that I could make my own with short row shaping in the brim and created this hat to share with you.

This is a quick knit, I finished my first one in just four hours, so I can say I made $9 and hour from it, right? :)

I didn’t have bulky yarn so I held two strands of worsted together. I used a wool/cotton blend from an unraveled thrifted sweater.
